Our Family Ancestry

It is my hope that in some small way I can preserve the memory of those individuals that have passed for future generations to come, thus preserving a great treasure, Our Heritage.

To forget one's ancestors is to be a brook without a source, a tree without a root.
–Chinese proverb

In doing my research I found many "cousins" across the country. Without these individuals and their support, contributions and information given so freely, this web site would not be possible.  They have my deepest gratitude. A very special "thank you" to Virgil Williams, Eudora Leslie, Laura Dodson Jones, Kay McMahan Noska, Maxine Poole Holloway, Betty Snyder (author of Antebellum Arkansas: Trammell Families) and Jim Hinkle for sharing their years of research.

This site is presently and will continue to be under construction.  I will be adding documents, photos and information when I receive them. I do not contend that all information here are without mistakes. If you find any mistakes or have any suggestions concerning this site,  please let me know by signing my guest book and I will immediately make corrections or additions.
If you find any information here that is helpful in your research, please email me and ask for a copy of my gedcom.

So sit back, kick your shoes off, relax and enjoy browsing Our Family Ancestry
