1939 August 17 Thursday THE LEBANON DAILY NEWS, LEBANON, Laclede County, Missouri
- Stoutland News - Virgil Evans was called to Lebanon Saturday afternoon for
the body of Thomas L. Belt, who died in the hospital there. Burial was in the
Hillhouse Cemetery Sunday. Thomas L. Belt was born in Indiana January 20, 1863.
He left Indiana and went to Arkansas when a young man and there was married.
He is survived by a wife and two sons, Tom and Emmett, both of Arkansas, and
a daughter, Billie Sellars, of Arkansas. Uncle Tom, as all knew him, belonged
to the Baptist Church.

2 - Stoutland News - Thomas L. Belt of near Stoutland, died last Saturday in
Wallace Memorial Hospital following and operation. Funeral arrangements were
