17. Thomas TRAMMELL was born on Jan 25 1814 in Tennessee.⁽¹⁾ He died on Aug 22 1886 in Foreman, Little River County, Arkansas. Thomas & Acenith found on 1880 Jackson Township, Little River, AR census. Image 782, Roll:T9_49. Shown living with them is daughters Nancy Ann and Martha A.

In 1860 Thomas, 43, was living in Jackson Township, Sevier County, AR. Living with him was his wife Acenith, 37 and their children: Nancy, 18, Lizzie age 15, John B. age 13, Thomas age 12, Acenith age 9, May age 8, James age 5, Barzilla, age 3 and Charles age 1. Also living in the household is Daniel Taylor age 15 born in Arkansas and William Phillips age 17, born in Alabama. Daniel and William were probably farmhands helping Thomas. Thomas was a farmer with real estate value of 2,000. and personal estate value of 500.

He was married to Acenith WRIGHT (daughter of Barzella WRIGHT and Nancy UNKNOWN) on Apr 19 1837 in Malvern, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Acenith WRIGHT was born about 1823 in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. ⁽²⁾⁽¹⁾ 1870 Census shows Acenith as being 47 years old and born in Louisiana, however, 1880 census shows her as being 63 and from Arkansas. 1870 Census shows Emma C. Wright, 15, living next door. 1880 Census shows Emma Right, 25, sister (would be sister to Acenith) living in household.

Wrights and Trammells may have been close to the Boone (Daniel Boone) family. If this is documented, Wrights were probably from Pennsylvania along with the Boone, Morgan, Martin, Bird (Byrd) families. (This information was supplied by Kenneth E. 50 ix. Barzella TRAMMELL was born in 1857 in Sevier County, Arkansas. He died before 1870. Barzilla, male, age 3, is found on 1860 census. He is not found on the 1870 census listed with other children. Barzilla apparently died before the 1870 census
